Brain Injury

Brain injury lawsuits refer to an injury where there is damage to the brain caused by an external impact to the head. These types of cases are also called head injury and traumatic brain injury cases.

Brain injuries are generally the most serious types of injuries. The CDC states that of the 1.4 million people in the United States who sustain traumatic brain injury that:

  • 50,000 die
  • 235,000 are hospitalized
  • 1.1 million are treated and released
