Oklahoma Erb’s Palsy Lawyer
Erb’s palsy (also known as brachial plexus palsy) is a birth injury caused by trauma to an unborn child. Erb’s palsy often leads to loss of control and/or sensation in the neck, shoulders, hands, and arm. When medical malpractice is involved, it usually occurs during delivery, when the child’s shoulder gets stuck under the mother’s pubic bone and the person delivering the baby uses excessive force to dislodge the shoulder.
